Research Interests:

Mechanobiology, Cellular Engineering, Biomaterials, Nanotechnology

We are interested in developing mechanophores (molecules that fluoresce upon experiencing mechanical forces) and mechanical actuators to investigate how forces influence biology. Using these tools we study a number of biological processes ranging from cell adhesion to differentiation and migration.
