Georgia Tech’s Engineered Biosystems Building provides 218,880 square feet of flexible interdisciplinary laboratory space for researchers collaborating in the fields of Chemical Biology, Cell Therapies and Systems Biology. A principle goal of the design is to foster interaction between chemists, engineers, biologists and computational scientists from two separate colleges: the College of Engineering and the College of Science. The building is developed with a highly utilized equipment corridor securely linking vertical circulation to every lab and support space while allowing wide transparency into research labs.
Engineered Biosystems Building is located at 950 Atlantic Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30332.
Facility Highlights:
Biopolymer Characterization Core
Microscopy Core
Systems Mass Spectrometry Core
Cytometry Core
Molecular Evolution Core-expected to be online in 2016
