1. Pre-Proposal Application: (RFP released Nov 1, 2018 - Application due Jan 2019): Pre-application instructions will be given upon meeting with the Coulter Team. Click here to request a meeting. Meetings can be requested at any time to discuss translational strategy, however it is recommended to schedule meetings beginning in September 2018 for the 2019 funding cycle.

2. Full Proposal Application:(January 2019) :

Full proposals are by invitation only.

Duration:  Grant duration is determined by appropriate project milestones and funding typically lasts between six to 18 months. Renewal applications are by invitation only and evaluated on a competitive basis with new applications.

Budget: Up to $1,200,000 of funding is available annually for all projects with an additional $300,000 worth of in-kind additional resources (marketing, regulatory, and reimbursement). There is no funding limit per project or a set number of projects that must be selected. All projects and their budgets are evaluated on their own merits.

Funds may be used for salary support of faculty, graduate students and other research staff, but may not be used for general staff or administrative support or for tuition. Operating supplies, minor equipment items, prototyping expenses, imaging time and travel directly associated with the research activity are examples of eligible budget items.
