Northbound on I-75/I-85:

• Take Exit 250, 10th Street
• Turn left (West) onto 10th Street
• Turn left (South) onto State Street
• Continue State Street until it intersects with Ferst Drive (at stop sign). The State Street Visitor Parking Lot is straight ahead.
• Turn left onto Ferst Drive and The U.A. Whitaker Building is located on the left at the corner of Atlantic and Ferst Drives.

Southbound on I-75 (Using Exit 250):

* Southbound ramp to 14th/10th Streets is blocked at 16th Street.

• Take Exit 250, Northside Drive and turn right
• Continue Northside Drive, turn left (East) onto 10th Street
• Turn right (South) onto State Sreet. State Street intersects with Ferst Drive (at stop sign). The State Street Visitor Parking Lot is straight ahead.
• Turn left onto Ferst Drive and The U.A. Whitaker Building is located on the left at the corner of Atlantic and Ferst Drives.

Southbound on I-85 (Using Exit 84):

*All traffic using Exit 84 must use the 17th Street ramp

• Take Exit 84, 17th Street
• Turn right (West) toward Atlantic Station
• Turn left (South) onto State Street
• Continue State Street (crossing 14th Street and 10th Street). State Street intersects with Ferst Drive (at stop sign). The State Street Visitor Parking Lot is straight ahead.
• Turn left onto Ferst Drive and The U.A. Whitaker Building is located on your left at the corner of Atlantic and Ferst Drives.


Motorists are strongly advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.

The Woodruff Memorial Research Building

The BME Offices at Emory are located in the Woodruff Memorial Research Building, at 101 Woodruff Circle on the Emory University Campus.

Southbound on I-85:

• Take exit 248-C, (Freedom Parkway exit).
• Cross Boulevard; continue on Freedom Parkway; veer left at split
• Continue on Freedom Parkway until it ends at Ponce de Leon Ave.
• Turn right onto Ponce de Leon.
• Turn left onto Briarcliff Road.
• Continue on Briarcliff for approx. 2 miles.
• Turn onto N. Decatur, heading East.
• Continue on N. Decatur
• Turn left at the traffic light onto Clifton Road.
• The Woodruff Memorial Research Building is located on your left on Woodruff Circle. If you come to Asbury Circle, you have gone too far.

Northbound on I-85

• Take exit 91, (Clairmont Road)
• Turn left onto Clairmont, heading east, and follow it approx. 3 miles to North Decatur Road.
• Turn right onto N. Decatur
• Follow N. Decatur
• Turn right onto Clifton Road.
• The Woodruff Memorial Research Building is located on your left on Woodruff Circle. If you come to Asbury Circle, you have gone too far.

Eastbound or Westbond on I-20:

• Take the Moreland Ave. exit. (exit 60-B for I-20 East, exit 60 for I-20 West).
• Turn right on Morland and follow it approx. 3 miles.
• Cross Ponce de Leon Avenue, Moreland will change to Briarcliff Road.
• Continue on Briarcliff for approx. 2 miles.
• Turn onto N. Decatur, heading East.
• Continue on N. Decatur
• Turn left at the traffic light onto Clifton Road.
• The Woodruff Memorial Research Building is located on your left on Woodruff Circle. If you come to Asbury Circle, you have gone too far.

Visitor parking is available in the parking deck located off Lowergate Drive. Lowergate Dr. is the second right once you have turned onto Clifton Road.
