Employment -- Post-Doc Positions

Probe Development for the Molecular Analysis and Detection
of Plaque Formation

Postodoctoral fellow positions are available in the areas of molecular imaging and cardiology in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. Recently we have been awarded an NHLBI/NIH Program of Excellence in Nanotechnology (PEN). This program, with investigators from biomedical engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology and cardiology, has projects that are highly interdisciplinary in nature and focus on the development of nanotechnologies and biomolecular approaches for the molecular analysis of plaque formation, and the detection of early-stage or vulnerable plaques. Candidates should have a PhD in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology or a related field, with demonstrated experience in cardiovascular biology, molecular imaging, or biomolecular engineering. Interested candidates should email a CV along with a list of three references to Professor Gang Bao, at .
