Bioengineering and Microelectromechanical Systems: Atomic force microscopy, pathogen adhesion and endocytosis, cell biomechanics, single molecule biophysics, drug delivery and targeting, cell membrane mimetics, biosensors
The Sulchek Lab is dedicated to understanding and controlling forces in nano/micro/bio systems. This research effort leverages molecular and cellular biology, MEMS and microfluidics, signal processing, optical reporting, and engineering design to develop new better control and understanding of processes in biology and nano/micro-science.
